ASOPROAAA, was established in September 1998, following the devastating destruction in the region by Hurricane Mitch. The association offers financial, commercial and technical assistance to 1,100 families in the areas of Acosta, Jorco and Palmichal.

This microlot was depulped leaving as much mucilage as possible, and dried on raised beds. This ‘black honey’ process imparts the distinctive fruit notes.

We brew this coffee as espresso where it shines as a ridiculously complex, layered tropical fruits espresso, and as a drip filter where the lime is balanced by the jack fruit and cherry candy sweetness.
