In 1982, Rosa Marina Lopez met her husband Guillermo Montenegro, a farmowner, while picking coffee. In 2004 he gave her 5 hectares of coffee for her ownproduction which she named La Lima because of a striking lemon tree on herland. Striving to produce high quality coffees she planted 3 more hectares ofcoffee trees at the highest point on the land. Through teamwork Rosa & Guillermohave survived leaf rust and other natural disasters & continue to produce highend coffees with the consolidation of their knowledge.
